What does Black Line Ops do?

Black Line Ops is an AI-native software company for small and medium-sized businesses. We build our own AI-powered SaaS products, and we build custom AI software for clients — turning manual work and scattered data into systems that act. We’re based in Tampa Bay, Florida.

What are the two ways to work with Black Line Ops?

Two ways. First, our in-house SaaS products: ready-made, AI-powered subscription software you can adopt off the shelf with no build required, starting with Aevrum. Second, custom AI software: we analyze how your business actually runs and build software tailored to your team and the tools you already use, concierge from the first call through launch and ongoing support.

What is Aevrum?

Aevrum is our first in-house SaaS product — an AI operating system for businesses that watches your day-to-day work, surfaces what needs attention, and handles the next step. How does a custom engagement work?

We work as a hands-on partner, not a vendor. First we listen and map how your business works and what’s worth automating. Then we build it with you, designing around how your team already operates and plugging into the tools you already use. After launch we stay — keeping it running, fixing what comes up, and growing it over time. Technically, that’s three steps: analyze, automate, and optimize.

What kind of manual work do you automate?

The repetitive work that quietly eats your team’s time — chasing invoices and payments, manual data entry, copying data between tools, rebuilding the same reports every week, answering the same questions over and over, and scheduling and reminders done by hand.

How much does it cost?

Custom builds are scoped to each business, so the price depends on the work involved. Our SaaS products, like Aevrum, are simple subscriptions. The first consultation is free and no-obligation — tell us what’s slowing your team down and we’ll come back with what we can automate, what it would look like, and how we’d build it.

Is my business data secure?

Who runs Black Line Ops, and where are you based?

We’re a small, senior team based in Tampa Bay, Florida — Nance Kilbourne (Chief Executive Officer), Jayden Higginbotham (Co-Founder & COO), and Brian Lane (Co-Founder & CISO). There are no account managers and no handoffs: you work directly with the people designing and building your software.
