Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Black Line Ops, LLC (“Black Line Ops,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit blacklineops.ai, including our Black Line Design studio pages (together, the “Site”). Black Line Design is the web-design studio arm of Black Line Ops. We keep the Site intentionally lightweight: it’s a marketing website, not a logged-in application, and we collect only what we need to respond to you.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you use one of our contact forms — the “Tell Us Your Problem” form on our main site or the “Get a quote” form on the Black Line Design studio page — you provide details such as your name, email address, an optional phone number, your business name, and the message or project details you write. Submitting a form sends this information to us by email so we can respond to your inquiry.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting and security provider automatically logs basic technical data — such as your IP address, browser type, device and operating system, the page that referred you, and timestamps — to deliver the Site, prevent abuse, and keep it secure.
Cookies
The Site does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don’t track you across other websites. Our hosting and security provider may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the Site from malicious traffic.
2. Third-party services
We rely on a small number of providers to run the Site:
- Cloudflare — website hosting, content delivery, and security.
- Google Fonts — the Site loads fonts from Google’s servers, which means your browser’s IP address is shared with Google to deliver them.
We do not permit these providers to use your information for their own marketing.
3. How we use information
- To respond to your inquiries and provide the information or services you ask about;
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
- To protect the Site, our visitors, and our business from fraud, abuse, and security threats;
- To comply with our legal obligations.
4. How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with: service providers that help us operate the Site and respond to you (for example, our hosting and email providers), under appropriate confidentiality obligations; and where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
5. Data retention
We keep contact inquiries for as long as needed to respond and for our reasonable business and legal purposes, after which we delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time (see below).
6. Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you’ve sent us by emailing info@blacklineops.ai. Depending on where you live — for example, California (CCPA/CPRA) or the EEA and UK (GDPR) — you may have additional rights, such as the right to access, delete, correct, or object to certain processing of your information. We honor applicable rights; contact us and we’ll respond. We do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under U.S. state privacy laws.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard what you share with us. To report a security concern or vulnerability, email security@blacklineops.ai — responsible disclosure is welcome.
8. Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. International visitors
We are based in the United States and process information here. If you visit from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected here.
